Or Thru Mitsubishi A Clutch Kit Replacement Would be Ideal But It Cost the same as a new compressor.. just be easy with ur current parts and replace the Magnetic Field Coil

to prevent damage to the air conditioning system there is a "low pressure switch" located on the condenser near the low pressure hose (large one) .. if the refrigerrant (R134A) gets too low then the clutch will be blocked from activating by that switch .. you can have your system tested and recharged or you can do that yourself .. the R134A is available at auto parts stores .. some come with a gague that is required for proper charge .. if you dont already have a gage then yoiu will need that one ... recharge kits often come with instructions .. other less likely but possible problems could be a fuse or bad AC clutch relay. sometimes damaged wiring or bad clutch will be the problem but much more likely just low fluid ..

Your A/C relay may have gone bad and has disconnected the power to the A/C compressor clutch.
Not sure where the relay is to your A/C, it may be in the fuse box but regardless check the relay and replace if it's seized. If you like in the mean time, you can always disconnect the wire harness to the A/C compressor clutch to keep the battery from draining and save your compressor from over heating.

wow ok i am from australia our lancers only come in a 2.0 or 2.4 i was shocked to see a 1.3 lancer
now with the key
every time you incert the key into the ignition it reads the key as there is a chip in the orignal keys so thatway the immobiliser knows thatit is safe for the car to start
if the cra can not read the key it will not let the car start evan if it is twisting to start etc
you need to go to mitsubishi and have them copy some new keys and let them reset the codes on the immobiliser if you try to do so your self it may trigger a cold shut down
this is when the immobiliser its self needs to be replaces as well as the keys
