The cabin air filter is generally located in the glove box, right by the hinges of the door... if it's not there it would be under the hood right in front of the driver... either way it should be held in place by a clip or two and should be relatively easy to remove...

Where is the cabin micro filter and how do you replace it

The cabin filter is located just behind the glove box and the trim panel underneath. You'll nee to remove the trim panel & the glove box, then looking forward, you'll see the tray going horizontally on the heater assembly. I seem to remember it was held in with 2 screws.

I bought the filter and the complete instructions came with it, got it on eBay. I had replaced them on other cars before, this is realatively easy and definitely not worth paying more for the filter than necessary or the labor cost.

good luck

Need instructions on replacing a drive belt and a cabin filter for a 2006 Toyota Corolla S

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, you will have to remove the glove box, behind the glove box is a cover about 1" high and 7" long, remove that cover and you will see a tray that holds the cabin air filter, remove the tray and you can replace the paper cabin air filter, I recomend using a Toyota cabin air filter, the Toyota cabin air filter is a HEPA air filter and is available at any Toyota dealer for about $ 30

Cabin air filter

Purchase a Purolator Cabin Filter for your Impala. It comes with complete instructions. The filter is located below the windshield, passenger side. The black plastic cover must be removed to access the filter. You simply raise the hood and remove 3 plastic clips, and the washer hose from it's holders. This will allow you to remove the plastic cover over the filter

Cabin Filter replacement

The filter comes with the instructions. I just did it last night to my Honda. It is behind the glove box. You need to remove the glove box, cut a plastic beam out, unscrew the metal support beam and then open and r/r the filter. The instructions don't mention that you need to remove the trim that covers the little fuse box located on the side panel--there is a plastic retainer that you unscrew by hand and then it all comes off easiliy!
