2000 subaru turbo,ticks over fine ,when i put foot down fast it stays at 3500-4000 rpm coughing and popping,push throttle slow and will pick up,changed pugs ht leads all filters,thinking either lamba sensor,or maf but no check engine light on or fault codes

Hi i would try replacing the throttle position sensor as these cause similar probs

2000 mercury villager, runs a fast idle. whether cold or warm the idle remains at a high idle speed, it even pulls with the brake applied.

Could be a vac leak, or a dirty throttle body, or a faulty idle air control valve. The computer controls idle speed by regulating the amount of air into the intake. Could also be something pulling on the throttle cable such as the cruise control.

Subaru wrx sti turbo

hi that sounds like the idle control sensor or tps throttle position sensor, if the i.c.s is stuffed you wont be able to boost and ur revs will be all over the show going up andown when car isnt moving hope this helps5
