I have a 2000 eclipse gt that had a bad wiring harness, we replaced it and idk if we just missed a plug or what but the only things working are the dome lights, door dinger, and power locks. the gauges arn't working and the engine wont turn over, it has a new battery, starter, and altenator... like i said we might have missed a plug somewhere when we reassebled it but idk where or what plug would make the car totaly dead besides the things listed above... please help me out!

You need to provide more information on what you need help with . If you are putting in an after market radio, you can get a wiring harness that will just plug into your radio harness and with the instructions you can wire this yourself. Usually simple. Go to a good parts house for parts and help.

I used to have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the same symptoms; my mechanic replaced the speed sensor ($65) and the problem went away. Take the car to auto zone and ask them to plug the computer, they normally do it free of charge. If it is the sensor, you may have to buy at the dealer.

if there is no fire for shure on #4 i would change the coil pack. seems to be the only thing left that would couse no fire.

you have idle air control valve and purge valve

yes this affects the emissions coming out of exhaust sytstem it really does choking the engine..also check the coil packs if you have any

check the wires to the clip on the horn they rust and then there no connection

if it was it doing this be4 id sugest finding out which wire you crosses on ur plug asap this is bad not to fix real soon find out the fireing order get a book be best thing to do or talk to a mechanic near you i hope you didnt mess something else up on the vehical

Either a bad plug, dirty plug, bad plug wire, not quite broken wire, bad or going bad coil, dirty injector. I would reset it first and make sure it comes back. If it does I would check the aforementioned items first.

thats one of two things i had the same problem with my 94 honda civic and my 00 mitsubishi eclipse both were not cheep to fix saddly for you man on my civic my tranny was catching and it would stall the motor out idk if that was the complete problem because i sold the car the same day i found out and i do not talk to the guy i sold it too but i seen it running fine a week or so later and on my eclipse it was my ecu for some reason there was a defect or some wires touching or something like that they replaced all my wires and my ecu and it ran fine till i sold it for my 2007 mitsubishi eclipse and gladdly i have not had any problems scince i bought the car
