Where is the relay for the fuel pump located in a 99 XH Falcon ute

fuel pump relay on ef falcon is located under the header(coolant tank).Fuel pump relay is the green relay, the brown one is the ecu relay. To access these relays, simply undo the 3 bolts holding the header tank in place(no need to undo any coolant hoses),and move header tank out of way, then undo the one screw retaining the relay cover.

Not getting fuel from tank to engien, checked lines thats not the problem, hooked up a electrical fuel pump and it ran fine. and yes it does have gas.

it could be the pump or the pump relay. relay is most come to go with the age but same as the pump if it has never been replaced in the past.

Fuel pump and filter have been replaced. The fuel doesn't get to the engine. I believe that the anti-theft is shutting down the fuel to the engine. I have someone check the car with a computer diagonstic...

When U turn the key to the on position (dont start it - but U can't so nvrmnd) and listen to underneath the car about at the drivers door. You should hear a buzzing noise that is the fuel pump operating.

If no noise, check the relay for the fuel pump. Located on the diagram for the fuse box located under the hood of the car.

use the wiper relay (if the wiper work) to test the fuel pump. If the car starts leave the wiper relay installed in teh fuel pump slot and drive to get U a new wiper relay.

If the fuel pump still don't kick on then its either wiring or a bad fuel pump. U can check for voltage at the tank before U buy a new pump. Abt $280 new.

Hope that helps.

If the relay swap dont

Ford Bronco II 2.9L V6 engine starting trouble

You should try checking the fuel pressure to see if it too low. If the pump sat for a long time like that and then was turned on for awhile it may have bought the farm. It may still be pumping, but just not enough. Try givng it a compression check as well just to see if it has any problems there.
