    Letter A and numbers 1&4 appear on instrumentation panel

    A or B = it's time for an oil change. "A" means oil only and "B" means oil and filter but, we always change both.
    1 = tire rotation is due.
    2 = replace air and cabin filters.
    3 = replace transmission fluid.
    4 = replace spark plugs.
    5 = replace engine coolant.

    Maintanence required is blinking when starts

    Sounds like your car needs a tune up. At a certain mileage the car probably needs an oil change and other maitanence. Go on YouTube and watch a video to reset the button. Good luck.

    1999 pontiac grand prix service engine light soon is on, what does it mean ?

    The service engine soon light is an indicator /reminder for you to do some type of maintanence work on your vehicle, depending upon your mileage that you have accumulated on your car dictates the sort of maintanence needed on the car.
    Can either be as simple as an oil change or as complicated as a major service/tuneup, oil change, transmission change, wheel alignment, brake inspect, tire rotation etc.
    Once the work is performed the technician must turn off the light.
    Reference the dealership or reliable repair shop for further information.

    How to replace a fuel filter on a 2007 4runner

    It's the new age of car design. As building tolerances become greater, engine/drivetrains become more efficient, and lubricants (ie synthetics) improve in wear properties, maintanance has been greatly extended on modern cars. Just follow your maintanance schedules (mostly oil and filters) and you'll be fine.

    1997 buick century 84500 miles regular maintanance, oil change every 3000 miles. son taking trip in it. never had radiator flushed, plugs changed, transmission fluid changed, should i have concerns on...

    Yes, this is very important maintenance procedures. Transmission should be serviced (filter, oil, and oil pan gasket replaced) @ 60K miles, plugs at 100K miles (I'd replace them early for better gas mileage), and radiator flushed @ 60K miles. Hopefully this helps!!

    When do i need to change oil

    Most all GM cars and trucks, Now have a Smart Oil Life Monitor System. Your Oil Life Quality (not quantity) is now determined by the Car's on board computer. By your driving habits, speeds, temperature, distance, time, etc. Your Car's computer knows when the Oil is 'worn' out and needs changing. Read the fine print in owners manual for how to reset it. GM owners manuals are available Free online, for reading or printing. Free, Free. Now you still have to pull the dip stick and check the oil level every tank of gas of so. The computer won't do that for you.

    Wrong Transmission oil

    you dont need a complete oil change.
    the other oil will also lubricate, so the oil you have put on, is as good as the oil who was there before
