hello, good day, first try to use your spare key,or check your fuse box at the rear, near your battery,if not corrected, send your car to a dealer for proper diagnose by using hht or star,ty

I have a e320 2003 model, the same has happened to me. I wondered if it could be the fuse but couldn't find a fuse that managed the boot.....
This problem is identical to the other post "boot wont open electronicaly by the boot release latch above the number plate, the boot release button inside thecaror the key fob! I have to use the manual key to mechanically open it now."
Open passenger door manually with key, then pop bonnet and remove plastic cover on passenger side at bulkhead. You will then see a connector from battery which can be mated to a slave battery in order to work remote to open boot.
