Check the switch on the brake pedal for the brake lights. Above the pedal on the brake is a switch that has to make to illuminate the brake lights.

I have a 1998 gmc sonoma my brake Lights dont work but everything else does except the right blinker changed bulbs didn't help

Check brake light fuse first. If ok, the brake light switch at the brake pedal may be defective. Try wiggling the switch to see if the brake lights work. If not, disconnect the wiring connecter and if it is just 2 wires cross them over and see if the brake lights come on. If they do, the brake light switch is bad. If wiggling the switch makes the brake lights work, I would suggest a brake light switch as well

Head lights wont come on on my 2001 pt cruiser not getting power to fuse box the fuses or relay checked with test light evrything else is getting power even checked the fuse box under the hood

Hi, first, keep in mind a few things. When checking your power, you will want to check it with the light switch on. Next, do your high beems wrk? I would check your switch.

1994 S10 rear break lights and blinkers do not work.

The headlight switch would have nothing to do with brake lights and turn signals. The turn signal switch would.

I have a 1992 Buick La Sabre Custom. My brake lights are not working but taillights, turn signals and hazard lights do work. Switch ok. fuse ok. ????????

if your fuse is good. and you have power at the brake light switch and when you hit the brakes you have power coming out the otherside of brake light switch/which would be the white wire/ check that the white wire is sending power up the turn signal switch. if theres power there and your turnsignals work? im afraid that your turnsignal switch is bad rare but it has been known to happen.

Brake lights dont light up. Running lights and blinkers work. Just no brakelights.

Check the brake light fuse. It's separate from the running light fuse and blinker fuse.

Do you have power with a test light in and out of the switch? Do the turn signals work? Will the brake lights work if you play with the turn signal handle?
