My accord 02 rear bumper have become slightly misaligned on the left side (probably because it was bumped by someone). It is not deformed, but it seems rather out of position, so Im looking for directions on how to remove it and hopefully realign the left end correctly with the rear left muguard (the bumper is slightly out at the moment)

It is a little more complicated than that. There are two nuts below the headlight assemblies in the engine compartment. You will need to remove the battery and overflow bottle to get at the one on the passenger side. Remove the turn signals in the bumper, then there are 2 or 3 bolts holding a mounting bracket behind the each of the turn signals. There are a number of bolts with washer heads and reatiners on the underside of the bumper as the previous responder indicated.

yes grind back fibreglass the fill ,smooth down repair and prime and paint

youll have to pull up very firmly or it may have to slide to the side its held in place by a bodyfastener. a screw that fits into a slot. but i would try pulling up first.

Approx £300 from honda, but you can get a cheaper part that looks just the same for about £190 if you can find a salvage yard you might get a genuine honda one the same colour as your car for about £100
