I have a 1991 nissan maxima i have had no problems with it at all til yesterday. I stopped at a stop sign and when i stepped on the gas it would not move it was running fine but car wont move at all.

Either transmission or motor--with the age cud be a # of things--start with simplest 1st--chec fluid and level in gears--then test fuel pump etc--when was last electrical tuneup--buy a repair book for maintenance details
