Chrylser recommends their antifreeze, and it is called hoat, you can purchase this at the chrysler dealerships at their parts dept.
Green antifreeze is allright, general motors call for dex-cool (orange) if you want to go by dealers advice-dexcool(orange coolant) but most of the public uses green 50/50 that way you will not have to guess the ratio for freezing level. look at the dealers stamp under the hood,on the hood itself,it will say dexcool, orange. myself,i would use 50/50 green antifreeze, because it has lube in it that lubes the waterpump on the engine. orange has very little faith from me personally.seems like alot of water pump raplacements when dealing with dexcool. but, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. and last, your engine calls for dexcool, orange. coolant. wish you the best of luck, but i suggest you submit your question again for more feedback please!!! thank you for choosing fixya.com!
