I suggest having the steering and front suspension systems checked, including: ball joints, tie rod ends, steering dampener (if equipped), upper and lower control arm bushings, hub bearings. I would also have the U-joints and motor mounts inspected in the process.
There are several things to consider, first I would check the tire balance. Then I would go to the front alignment. If you have trouble on one side or the other you may just have a bad tire.
Hello, I see you may a lot of changes and replaced a lot of parts. We leased an Explorer the same Year as yours. In our case there was a slight noise as well as vibration. The problem was the Front Hub bearings, They were bad at 18000 miles.
There are a few things I want to suggest. The spinning of the wheels on the lift will not load the bearings. A Dyno table can get everything turning with a load on it. As your vehicle is a 4x4, most Dyno's were 2 wheelers. You would have to call to find one for a 4x4.
Next, if the new Hubs do not help, have a look at the rotors. They are also balanced. You can spin balance the Wheel and rotor as a unit with a floor motor. It's not the best way to Balance because tire rotation or even shifting the Wheel on the lugs will UNbalance it. But this method CAN pinpoint a problem if a Balanced tire does not spin true when bolted to the vehicle. You will know the Rotor is off-balance and which axle is causing the problem.

Tire vibration can be caused by a few things. Here's what to check: 1. Check the tire inflation. Make sure it's at the recommended pressure. 2. Have a local tire shop check your tire balance. If a tire is out of balance you'll notice the vibration at speeds above 50mph. 3.Wheel alignment. If the alignment is out, the tire will show uneven wear and can cause vibration also. 4. If a front wheel bearing is going out, it can cause vibration, but since your car is only 5-6 years old, this probably isn't the case. Hope this helps you narrow it down. Best of success!
Unbalanced tires wont give a vibration all the time at low speeds.Have them balanced and check wheel bearings and ball joints.If it still persists then have the prop shaft balanced
have the steering rack checked for excess play, also have all the front end bushing checked, this is a common cause of this type of problem, it is the front end that is doing it, finding the worn part(s) is the job that needs to be done to correct this.
