is their fuel or is fuel pump working --why was battery changed was old one tested and found bad --check fuel system if vehicle starts with starter fluid then you have a problem with fuel supply ---if fuel ok and doesnt stark problem with ignition system
This is a trick some folks do to figure out if it's the starter. When the car doesn't crank, take something like a bat or a metal bar and hit the starter and few times. If the car starts right away then it's your starter, otherwise you might consider the fuel pump relay/fuel pump.
If u hear the engine cranking in the AM, the batt & alt sound good. If you don't get any engine cranking in the am you may have an electrical short draining the battery. Before u convict the starter u must make sure the battery has full power in the AM. (12V) & 12 V to the starter
recheck the battery and connections new doesnt mean free from defects or loose connections if battery good check and test the starter --as to fuel filter and pump if it turned over and did not start you could consider putting them in the equation but yours car in not turning over
the starter cranks the engine, the switch in the trunk has a button that you depress to reset the fuel pump. if the fuel pump doesnt operate then the switch may tripped, the button is DOWN. So does the engine crank? does it not crank? cranks but wont run? if it cranks but wont run, then check the switch in the trunk. Power goes to that switch and then to the pump, so if that switch has power going through it, and the pump doesnt work, the pump is bad. when turning the key on you should hear the pump go on for 2 seconds.
Did you try to replace the starter cable? is the Truck turning over or just clicking.? If it's turning over and not starting. Best guess would be one of two things. Knock sensors Located under intake manifold. they get wet and deteriorate or the fuel pump. I've replaced all three on mine. 233k still running strong...
can be a lot of reasons 1.battery 2.oil level 3.timing belt 4.starter motor most of cars are having problem of starter motor nd you can check it if fuel pump is working or not take of the outlet fuel pipe and try to start it if fuel is coming means is ok if not then it means fuel pump
with little infomation i would say that you need to replace the fuel pump or you shoul start with the fuel filter then if that doesnt help try the fuel pump replacement . see when you push it motor is turning faster than starter motor meaning need less fuel to start it so when you push it motor is winding faster than with starter motor good luck with this project
