This is a part of the headlamp assembly so it is not a part you can replace separately
my advice is to take a heat gun and heat the nylon adjusting nut till it starts to shrink in size
when it cools down it will thread again to adjust. removing the headlamp assembly is required to perform this task

My 1989 gmc serra the head lights don't light the road to well is there something I can do ? different type of bulb

dull head lights cab be from several things
1-bad reflectors behind the bulbs --any yellowing, rusting or dull reflector surfaces -- replace head light assemblies
2 badly aligned head lights-- beams shining off into space instead of on the road. --- have an alignment done on the lights
3 wet roads do not reflect head lights properly so it appears that the lights are not working well--- not much to do. the light reflects forward of the wet surface and not back to the driver
4 only one head light or no main beams and running on low beams only--- check light operation and check light control module for operation

How do I ajust headlights?

place the vehicle on level floor about 3ft from a blank wall at night. turn on the head lights to high beam. You will see the centre of the light beam s on the wall ,the centre of the beam has to be set just under the centre height of the head lights and slightly off to the passenger side.
adjustment is by 3 screws at the back of the head light fixtures (springs under the screws)
turning these in or out moves the beam centre and by using a combination of screws movements you will achieve the desired position for the beam centre

How do i ajust the hand brake 2006 territory tx

Hi Johan
jack up the the side you want to work on,now look at the back of the wheel on the dust plate there is or should be a small grommet or rubber bung on the plate, remove this bung and using a torch look inside you should see something that looks like a small cog or gear its a bit awkward to see inside as its a small hole, using a flat head screw driver insert it into the hole where the cog is making sure to get it into the teeth of the cog and push down on the screw driver handle this should rotate the cog and adjust the brake shoes inside the drum, spin the wheel now and then to make sure it is not grabbing if you over adjust it, it will stop the wheel spinning freely, you need to get it so there is a slight drag on the wheel as you spin it, once you have this rotate it in the opposite direction once and that should be perfect for you, and just do the same with the other side.
NOTE if you find nothing is happening, try rotating it in the opposite direction until it starts to grab you will notice this when you spin the wheel.
Hope that help

Head lights pointing down need to adjust any help

Theres an adjustment screw for up and down and also a screw for left and right, you can go to a parking lot and ajust them your self you will aim the light to the specs you like but careful not to aim to high as you will be blinding oncoming drivers, you can always readjust them until you can it right, open the hood during the day to locate the adjustment screws.

Is there a way to manually close the sun shade on my 05 C230.

Where the button for the sunroof is located : you will need to remove the light cover then the entire light fixture with flat head screw driver , leaving the fixture hanging you will see the motor and two bolts , on the right side and one on the left side , your problem is on the left side the rubber washer is worn out .. Remove the left screw ( bolt ) w.e and go to a hardware store and buy a smal metal washer quarter of an inch then you can tighten the screw and the sun roof will work fine ... Good luck

Drivers side tail light lighting up at night when head lights are on but break light not working on that side. passenger side not lighting up when head lights are on but break light working on that side....

You probably already know this, however the GMC 2002 Yukon Denali uses the Wagner 3157 (or equivalent) dual element bulb. The running light uses one element whereas the brake & blinker share the other element that burns brighter.

Check to ensure the correct bulbs are being used. Then check all wire harness connections. Since the blinkers function, then it sounds like the connections are good.

It really sounds like there is a bulb issue, so check that first, then let us know the results.

Tail light problem

carefuly test the socket that the light plugs into with a test light. I have seen alot of the newer pickups etc. that have the push in style lights have bad boards. cost like 19.00 at orielys. on the back of your tail lights when you take them off of the rig. do you have to unplug a wiring harness and take 2 screws out? and pull the black plastic peice out and the lights push in. that is the board i am talking about replacing. use the test light to check the plugend if it works that will tell you.
