Good morning, my wife has a 2007 suzuki swift 1200 *** import that has a hesitation fault, it seams to show up at low engine speeds like when you reverse then put it into drive it almost seams to stall and wont pull away cleanly this can happen when pulling across an intersection this then becomes dangerous as it leaves you semi crawling across a stream of traffic. We under avice from our local suzuki dealer replaced the spark plugs, air filter this has not solved the problem it has done 44000kms they suggested that perhaps the coils are at fault but how much dose one spend hoping to find the fault, the car was put on the testing machine through it's computor, nothing, they did say it has a problem usefull info eh ! it seams to get worse in winter wich makes me think it's fuel supply can you help me please

Your torque converter is faulty. Replace it

I have a 1.2 Swift Manual Gearbox .....It seems to suffer from a similar problem,
in order to pull away or reverse into a tight spot, you have to rev very high otherwise it stalls.
I was at a roundabout, was pulling away and the engine died .... a car hit me up the rear.
It has now only done 4000 miles. The dealer says it is how I drive (I have never had this problem
    with any other car).
This seems to me to indicate an engine management problem.

Manual gears has no torque converter. Its only for auto gears. Manual has the clutch. Therefore seems your probem is different.

My suzuki swift 4WD 2007 model speedometer not working DTC error code p 1777

double posted?

replace the speed sensor.
the SM covers all this, ever seen a service manual.
?
is this a USA car,?
you posted to USA forum. so...

DTC errors are based on
engine and trans in your car, called the Drive line
we cant guess that ever. why work on car not knowing whats there>? how can you buy parts or read correct chapter in the service manual lacking this 1 key fact.?
the speed is dead most times with VSS dead.
replace VSS , clean it or fix its busted up wires.

swift or swift +

we only have 2007 in canada no USA< so why not say country first
why must we beg?
2004 to 2011 in canada, sorry cant do outside N.America, sorry.
ill look up the canada codes, is speedo in KPH?>?>>?>>>
swift non + ended 2001 here.
oops my source of books has no canada swift books.
answer:
the VSS can only be in 2 spots.
under hood, (there is one other exception)
1: on the axle near (pinion ring gear), to measure speed.
2: on some cars the ABS wheel sensors.
In case 2 , the ABS knows speed and simply tells the PCM speeds at all times and in turn PCM sends speed data to the CLuster.

are all fuses good.?

How do I fix, bad idle in suzuki swift , check light on, no codes.

the title is contradiction
" check light on, no codes."<< totally wrong
scan it one more time with a REAL scan tool this time. (there are DTC errors , or codes as you said)

what does bad idle mean? misfiring, or idle speed too low
or too high? RPM, or
surging?

say what that means please.
and more important is engine hot or cold ? failing.???? or both????
there are over 50 causes.
but can be broken down to simple physics and gauges.
1: engine bad, lost compression.
2: engine cant breath, dirty air cleaner
3: ISC stuck closed or open or just stuck. (bad idle air supply)
4: bad spark, 1 or all 4 (never had a tune in this decade.
5: cam drive, slipped (belt) causing #1 failure.
6: air fuel mix too lean, and causes rpm drop and ISC fails.
7: air fuel mix too rich and misfires.
8: egr stuck open, it misfires and ISC gives up.
9: cat clogged, engine cant breath #2 like.
10: and the vast other reasons for misfire.

we cant drive it, see it or hear it misfire, so.....????

there is a test for all 10, ask. or get car serviced.

98 suzuki swift low speed ,misses hesitates high speed is fine i just drove from vancouver to yukon 2400klms slow speed not good, how do i fix

It is possible that your car has some blocked jets, the fuel pump/injectors need a retune. Change the fuel filter and do a general suzuki 20 check up. the fault will clear off. I am sure this is a fault linked to the firing/fuel at the low RPM. What you can check is to see the filters, the electric section for poor contacts. Hope you try. Good day
