May be a slight short in the switch/button. Enough that it cycles the settings or just stays on. If you want it to stay off for now, look for a fuse or relay to pull. Come to think of it, might be a bad relay. If there is one for each seat, try swapping them out and see if the problem starts on the other seat. If it follows the relay, then there's your problem.

Seat belt and any warning chimes do not come from the radio, they usually come from a unit under the dash, what you are describing is probabl;y a blown fuse problem. I would checkfuses with a teat light as some fuses may not appear blown.

There are several ways to solve this problem. You need a schematic of vehicle from Haynes or whoever, such high amperage I would place in line fuses to each item, that way it will isolate problem then look for bare or rubbing wire under seat or in doors ( too much junk jammed under seats) ? Anyway with a little time and some disassembly should be a simple fix.

There is a service bulletin for this concern from GM.What you will have to do is go to the dealership and they will reprogram the drivers seat module. It should only take a 1/2 hour. The bulletin number is 05-08-50-008.Hope this helps.Good luck.

It is the water pump most likely, they have ,what they call a weep hole in the bottom under the pulley,so they will leak out to let you know to change them right away.If it is on the top coming from the intake area,it would be the intake, they are also bad to leak, but look at the pump, under the pulley.
