Add a ground strap from the body to the engine

The problem may be a faulty blower motor behind the heather core, or a problem with wirings.

there are two separate actuators for the rear system. one controls temperature and the other controls vents from head to feet. mine problem was the later. that acutuator for esv 2003 is 89018365. it is located just below third seat cup holder passenger side and can be replaced simply by removing cup holder. triangular shaped part with wire harness.

Have you tried smacking the blower motor? If it starts running after you hit it, replace it.

your fan motor is located on firewall behind engine towards middle of car under a cover gain acess turn fan on inside car lightly tap back of motor if fan starts running you have a bad fan motor i assume you have already checked your fuses
