The problem is the light bulb behind the screen if you pull the radio out of the dash & pull the radio apart the bulb is right behind the screen with a little work you can get it out, and you can buy it at a pontiac/gm garage. Part # 16208443. Good Luck

The clock display is not working. the light has gone out and i cannot see what time it is or what radio station i am on. is it a fuse or a bulb problem. If it's a fuse which one is it that i need to...

I don't know the full solution; however, I do know there is a very small removable light behind the display. You must remove the face plate to access the light, the twist it out with a common/flat screwdriver. Be careful not to brake any retaining clips along the way. And you need to take the dash cover off to get at the radio, a bit of a nuisance.

Unfortunately, GM (of course) does not sell a replacement part. You might try an auto-wrecker, to find a similar inoperable radio but hopefully with a working light. Good luck.

Radio/CD player/clock display went dark.

the cheapest way to go is a replacement from a wrecking yard, unless it is an aftermarket stereo then the cost rises

Can't see anything on the clock/Radio Display

the radio display is lighted by a tiny bulb inside the radio, to change this u must remove the radio from the dash and take off the top sheet metal cover, under that u will see a small twist in bulb socket, replace that little bulb, the bulb is about $2 and avail at any full sevice auto parts store.

Dash board clock will not light up any more.

I had the same problem on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I sent my radio out for repair of illumination. You can find online places that will provide shipping labels for sending the radio in and returning it back to you.

Clock light burned out

You will need to pull the clock, the bulb is on the back, any parts store will carry it, it is a mini peanut bulb.

Radio

I don't really have a solution but that just happened to my car in the Spring. I was told that it is likely an electrical problem that could cost up to $500 b/c they'd have to take it all apart then test.
