Looking for a wiring diagram for a 1999 Ford F350 Diesel. Anyone got one???

Most MOTOR, Mitchel, and Chilton repair manuals will have a wiring diagram in the back.

The 2006 Ford F350 Powertrain Control Module is located in the Top, Middle of the Firewall when looking under the Hood, behind the Engine.

For 1999 Ford Truck F350 Super Duty P/U 4WD 7.3L Turbo Diesel 8cyl the Flasher is located: Behind center of instrument panel.

The decal on the underside of the hood should show the belt routing and identift the components.

It is the fuel heater, All you have to do is unplug it.

Check out faxonautoliterature. They list an original Ford wiring diagram manual for your truck for $59. They also have a couple of different Ford service manuals for your engine, diagnostics and repair. If your wiring and relay problems are engine specific then a copy of Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part # 10330, will be right up your ally. For $20 it provides an excellent trouble shooting and repair manual for the DIY diesel owner. It has separate sectons for the 6.9 and 7.3 engines as well as GM. I know this isn't free but I hope it will help.

They were the only place I could find that had the files, but I didn't download since I don't currently have the software to view .rar files, and didn't care to download it (also free).

If that doesn't work, you might have luck asking on www.thedieselgarage.com or www.oilburners.net . Good luck

you may have a bad plug wire to the back of the alternator you can test that with a light tester but when you replace a alternator in a diesel at start up it takes about 35 secands before the unit will kick on
