I'm goona try and hope for your sake that I am correct. The Colorado came out in 2004 until present. There were no changes other then some extras added on. Even the lengths stayed the same. No change. I have an owners manual for a 2006 so I'm guessing it's going to be the same. I am sure that the way the fuse is labeled will be the same (RDO) so I know that will help you out at least. Anyhow, the fuse for the radio is located in the engine compartment fuse box (see picture below) The fuse for the radio (in the 2006) is located in the RDO position. Kind of hard to see but it is on the bottom row (see diagram of layout below). I hope they are the same and I hope this helps you out. good luck.

I have 2005 colorado, fan motor is good, put a new motor resitor in and it still wont work.

Check the fan select switch and the wire harness that plugs into it,it may need to be replaced, they will melt down. Also if the resister wire harness has melted, replace it also, and check the relay and fuse.

Had to replace altinator... How do u reset the display on dash saying "battery"/

There's no reset for battery light, when problem is fix the light will go off, light still on could be a defective alternator or a fuse could be bad, have the alternator check first could be bad, if it testes good look for bad fuse.

Installing stereo had to put a wiring harness wired it all up red 12volt wire comes separete needs to hook up to ignition i do not know where it goes

Use a 12 volt test light & probe wires in harness from original connection, on feed side .Find a wire that only has power when you turn the key on. That's the one you'll connect that wire to.
