Hi,
Normally there would be a relay for the fuel pump. It would be among a few others in the fuse/relay box under the hood. Pls confirm with your diagram and to my knowledge, this gets its main power from the FL-3 ECM fuse (30A) and then to the F10 fuel pump fuse (15A). These are all ignition triggered, meaning, there would be +12VDC if and when the ignition switch is turned on.
The Low Pressure Oil sensor is likewise ignition +12 supplied.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

It is an electro-magnetic switch valve whereby an oil pressure press is actuated when a desired pressure is attained
It's either the oil pressure switch has gone bad,or the switch and fuel pump are on the same circuit or share a relay.I know the fuel pump has a relay,so check it for looking discolored, burnt, plastic bubbling, indicating a problem with a relay. The switch itself would normally be conducting power through it,and when oil pressure dropped dangerously low,the switch would interrupt the current flow, stopping power to the fuel pump. There may also be a fuel pump reset procedure?I know older Fords,90's cars had a fuel pump circuit reset button,as well as Rangers, etc. You could always take the switch out of the loop, and install a mechanical oil pressure gauge to keep track of the oil pressure.
Italmost sounds as if the switch has gone bad again..maybe from trying to start it too many times after it ran out of gas?? replace the switch again and see if that dosent solve the problem.i believe it will please rate me

I have already replaced the LPOS with a new one
The problem is that I am not getting any power to the hot side of the switch
I need to find where the primary source of power for the LPOS is derived from.
I know what type of switch it is it requires 4-7 pounds of oil pressure to activate.
My problem is that I am not getting any power to it. I am looking for the source of power to the switch. Where does the switch get its power from? The cicuit diagram shows it coming from the instrument cluster on the dash.
