Try this procedure.Couple of times. If it does not help for first time, try few more times.------------
Hold the head rest up button for 15-20 sec then press the button to down. You should hear some racheting sounds during this process. There is a tool which you require is mostly in the trunk or in the glove box .A very long thin metal rod in the shape of a L in your glove box or trunk. You need this tool or a bent screwdriver to release the locking mechanism and press the headrests back down. And you will need one more person to help you.But if you cannot locate this tool, then you will need a screw driver,a long screwdriver, over a foot long, and you need a flashlight .With a screw driver you poke down there until you can press down on metal lever thing. It's a metal lever that you'll know when you hit it.When that metal lever gets hit, the headrest will go down.If there is no screw driver then a thin metal rod or coat hanger will help.--------All you have to do is look to the right of the headrest through the fabric and you will see a hole with a whitish plastic tab. Push the tab down and while its pushed down ask any one to ( a friend, neighbor or a helper) press the headrest back down until it bottoms out then release the tab and it should be reset. You have to do both headrests individually and the locks are on the same side on both of them .---------- The tool which you require is mostly in the trunk or in the glove box .---------- For more help. Please click the link below:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/04/rear-seat-headreast-popped-up-on.html ------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
You may need to pull the headrests up then push them down while pressing the button to aid the process.----------But if that is not helping,--------
