Hi, I wouldn't open the door just yet. Not sure what you have now that someone has "made it to work," but below is the stock setup. I'm assuming the fuse that is blowing is the 10 amp fuse #16 in the dash fuse box. There is a relay in the passenger compartment relay box that you need to check. First pull the relay out and put a fresh fuse in. Does the fuse still blow when you turn the key on? If yes, suspect the fuse box itself has a short, or the wiring is not as it should be. If not, suspect the relay has a short--try another relay (you can borrow a similar relay from somewhere else in the car for troubleshooting). Please try this, and we'll go from there.
Got it fixed, thanks. The fuse was the 30A in the engine compartment that was blowing. After taking off the door panel, we discovered that the window motor had slipped it's mount and wenched itself jammed. Apparently it was not securely bolted to the door frame when previously repaired. After firmly re-securing it everything works fine. We couldn't find any frayed wires, so I can only assume the tension on the wires from the slipped motor was causing a short. Re-wrapped those with E-tape and fastened her back up. Win win.
Good work. My bad assuming it was the 10 amp fuse. Yes, if the 30 amp fuse blows it's something in the door causing it.

I would first try a higher amp fuse like a 75amp fuse and see if that works,
hopefully this might solve your problem
