2007 its your drive belt, let the dealer inspect for wear or if its loose, they are not going to reproduce it they are just sending you air, but hold them accountable for the drive belt and just ask ,"hey is this belt okay and I am not going to breakdown".

I have this problem with our 07 yaris and they did replace drive belt. It still squeaks after a while. I took it back and they adjusted it. After a day, it made the sound again!!
(ALL YARIS OWNERS) Please let me explain something here to you if you have this problem (32 years mechanic here and counting)) do this and your problem is gone for good when you start your vehicle do not put the key in it and turn it to start right away.......
turn the key slowly and leave it at the start for a few seconds roughly 5 or more then start the vehicle and you will see it will be gone!
why? this is why Toyota will not come and say its on their end but it is a computer glitch/programming fault of theirs
(good luck) in getting them to freely say they will flash your computer anyway
please dont get me wrong like people have been saying here yes it could very well be a worn belt/tensioner/etc make sure these things are in good working order (yes)
then if they are
please try this and let me know because it will be gone just take your time
before you start it
1. key in
2. turn to before starting leave it there for 5 or more seconds
4. start the car noise gone.
Hope this helps all you out some.

Further to my answer here I see some and have also dealt with some that say that when i start the car and just turn the heat on it will do the same? yes (reason) it is all fed of the same computer further to my answer (computer glitch Toyota) but like i say this can squeal/high pitch/etc on different systems in the car heat/air/pressing the accelerator down and at times it will often go away by shutting the heat off and (gone) try this and you will see.
the next time it does this and you dont use what i have said and you hear it squeal and being (cold) or this also happens in the summer glitches do not go away because of weather period. its like having a laptop and getting a virus basically and in the spring its gone (wont happen) virus has to be removed) this said same as vehicles out there they run basically around sensors/small computers/large pcm you name it by tomorrow they will have a new name for it as technology advances each day its overkill already anyway try it and you will see if iam correct or not and yes leave a reply if it helps it just might save another a $200 dollar + bill at the local ? well you get my drift here.~Dave

I would say to start looking for the problem in an idler pully these are known for doing just that at a cold state they will squeal until it warms up then stops I've seen it and dealt with it.What you can do is remove the serpentine belt or belts whichever is the case and then spin each idler pully by hand you should hear no noise but if it makes a sound like dry bearing then its bad change it out.
It is possible that is serpantin (drive) belt
I have one that does the same thing. I found out that it has something to do with Toyota ans their computer sending messages to the alternator. I know this sounds crazy, but, it you turn the key slow pausing for a second between it won’t do it. There is a great video on YouTube.
We will try this since the belt was a dead end. Very frustrating!
