Replacing the brake light switch is a difficult process due to working in a very confined space. Before attempting to replace the switch, check the fuse in the fuse box on the end of the dashboard then the fuse and the relay in the relay box under the hood. If all these are good, then the problem is probably related to the switch.

The brake light switch is located above the steering column. There is a circular retainer that holds it to the shaft. There is a split in the retainer that must be opened in order to remove the retainer. Use a long, thin screwdriver to spread one side then the other. This will bend the retainer enough that it will pop off. Rotate the switch to disengage it from the rod and slide it off the shaft. Use a screwdriver to depress the electrical connector lock and unplug the connector. Replacing the switch is the opposite of the removal operation. try this site for diagrams- www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp

Look up under the drivers side of the dash. It is attached to the brake pedal lever. You may have to remove a trim panel to see it. It should have a 5 or 6 wire connector plugged into it.

All fuses are good. Brake switch is releasing shifter and allowing me to get out of park so my assumption is brake switch is ok. I feel it is alarm related and wondering if there is a brake light relay?...

You need to test the brake light switch, it is above the brake pedal and it is actuated by the brake pedal arm. Press the brake, the switch connector should show 12 volts on both sides, if not the wiring connector is defective or the switch is defective. Below is a diagram of a typical brake switch which is #4 in diagram.
