Hi there: DTC P0102 is a fairly straight forward code pointing to a fault in the Mass Air Flow Sensor. I suggest check to make sure there are no holes or air leaks in the air filter housing or ducts.
Also, check that the air filter element is not excessively dirty and restricting air flow; at this point, if the visual inspection is ok, suspect a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor.
Check in THIS LINK information about description and additional tests.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
Take the handle of a screwdriver and tap on the mass air flow sensor while someone else tries to start it.If it starts then take the mass air flow sensor off and clean the small thin wires with a non-chlronated brake cleaner and let dry for 10 minutes and re-install.
have vechicle code scan, faulty mass air flow sensor will cause engine run poorly stall out.sound like transmission could be slipping not going in over drive if vechicle cant go over 40 miles an hour.change transmission fluid and filter see it helps. mass air flow sensor has to be replaced most people try clean them but best to replace them.
I had the same problem with my 2000 Bonneville SLE and I replaced the crank shaft sensor and it solved the problem. The crank shaft sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer. You have to take the balancer off to get to the part. You will need a puller to get it off. You will also have to take the fly wheel cover off and hold the fly wheel when you remove the nut from the front of balancer.
