Any tire dealer or reputable BBB approved auto care repair center can service the brakes, also any Suzuki dealer is a good choice as they have the best knowledge of the product by far. As far a specific locations that can do brake work and have well trained brake repair technicians, Firestone auto care centers and Big O tires are good choices as well.

Translation for B 125 maintenance code

This fooled me for a little while, as I'm not familiar with the car. Actually what you are seeing is a maintainence message that tells you first, that you need to perform a maintainence type A or B.
Then it tells you what maintainence sub items you also need to perform.

So, what you are being told is perform maintainence B and perform sub items 1, 2 and 5

MAINTAINENCE A CHECKLIST:
Replace engine oil

MAINTAINENCE B CHECKLIST:
Replace engine oil and filter
Inspect front & rear brakes
Inspect parking brake & adjustment
Inspect Tie rod ends, steering box & boots
Inspect suspension components
Inspect Driveshaft boots
Inspect brake hoses and lines including ABS
Inspect All fluid levels and conditions of fluid
Inspect Exhaust system
Inspect Fuel lines & connections

SUB ITEMS CHECK LIST
1:
Rotate Tyres

2:
Replace air cleaner element (Every 15,000 miles in dusty conditions)
Replace dust & pollen filter (Urban areas with high concentrations of soot, replace every 15,00 miles)
Inspect Drive belt

3:
Replace Transmission Fluid

4:
Replace Spark plugs
Replace Timing Belt
Inspect Water Pump (V6 Engines only) - If regular extreme conditions over 110 degrees f or under -20 degrees F, replace every 60,000 miles
Inspect Valve Clearance

5:
Replace engine coolant

What are the proper steps to bleeding your brakes on a 1990 vw golf deisel

For left hand drive vehicles: (If the car does not have ABS system you do not need any diagnostic equipment!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You need using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car in order to bleed the ABS block. Follow instructions by scantool equipment for bleeding the ABS block.

1. This bleeding procedure requires two people. Remove the brake system reservoir cap, and fill up with new brake fluid until "MAX" level is reached.
2. Lift the car, or use a channel for access under vehicle.
3. Put the gearbox in "N" - Neutral position, or in "P" - Parking position for automatic transmission.
4. Start the engine and push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor.
5. Begin with the rear right wheel. Another person remove the dust cap and loose the brake caliper bleeding screw until the brake pedal goes to the floor. At this moment maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling, and tight the brake caliper bleeding screw. Use a plastic hose: one end connected to the brake caliper bleeding screw, and another end inside a recovery bottle for used brake fluid.
6. Repeat steps no.#4 and no.#5 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

7. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
8. Continue with the rear left wheel.
9. Repeat steps no.#7 and no.#8 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

10. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
11. Continue with the front right wheel.
12. Repeat steps no.#10 and no.#11 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All the time check the brake fluid level in the brake system reservoir, and fill up if necessary!

13. Push the brake pedal firmly for 4 - 5 times to the floor, and maintain the brake pedal pushed to the floor, engine idling.
14. Continue with the front left wheel.
15. Repeat steps no.#13 and no.#14 until no air flows through the brake caliper bleeding screw. Tight the brake caliper bleeding screw, and put the dust cap in their place.
16. Now the brakes are bleeded. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Fill up with new brake fluid until "MAX" level is reached. Put back the brake reservoir cap.
17. Test the car brake system. The brake pedal movement no more than 1/3 of total stroke until the floor, when brake pedal is applied. Maximum admissible is 1/2 of total stroke.

Does it have anti lock breaks the ven number is 1G3HY54C0KW348877?

Hi!! Yes, your vehicle is equipped with Anti-Lock Brake System. The Teves Mark II Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), used on 1987-90 GM Bonneville, Eighty Eight and LeSabre vehicles , is manufactured by Alfred Teves Technologies of West Germany. The 4-wheel system uses a combination of wheel speed sensors and a microprocessor to determine impending wheel lock-up and adjust the brake pressure to maintain the best braking. This system helps the driver maintain the control of the vehicle under heavy braking conditions.
A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

2006 Satrun Vue, experiencing a vibration wehn brakes are applied and then when brakes released a bit of vibration is felt at take of as well. The front rotors were replaced and turned since we have owned...

I would check the rear brakes drums, they may need to be turned. The front rotors may have warped again, with turning the rotors, it removes metal from the rotor which leaves the rotor with less metal to dissipate heat, and the rotor will warp again when they get hot.

My abs light is on and the breaks need to be pumped or tapped moderately hard to maintain pressure.

It is likely you have air in the system. Is the parking brake light on also? Check the reservoir. If empty or low, a leak is likely.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6004281-brake_indicator_light_stays . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Front Brakes squeak when stopping. Also somewhat of a dry grinding noise accompanies it. Do I need new brakes? Bearings a possibility?

Brakes should never squeak, just serviced or a year old.
If your not having them disassembled, at least once a year and cleaned up etc,you will have those issues and more wear and damage to rotors than necessary.
Bearings can be checked out after the brakes are serviced.
Serviced, does not mean replacing things. It is preventative maintainance,to keep them working correctly.

Keep in mind, that without your vehicle,no one on the phone or internet would know your vehicles condition or costs of repairs. A repair shop that quotes you a price, when they have not even looked at your vehicle or disassembled anything,is a place you should avoid. That would be all the franchises.

Just bought 2003 Toyota Sequoia and find that the brakes are very spongy feeling. Traveling at 45, I pushed on the brakes with about 80% of my strength and still couldn't feel them bite. Two different...

Hi. To answer your question, No. The Sequoia has great braking ability, assuming that the brakes have been maintained. Most likely, your rear brake shoes may not be adjusted properly, and that means that the rear brakes are not doing their share of the work. Try this: Put the park brake on, and then drop the trans into drive, and give it a bit of gas. If the vehicle moves at all, the rear brakes need adjusting. This is a very common problem.
