Wrench light is coming on and display reads ODO Error, no power in Drive, can only go in Reverse

You will need to have the ODB error codes read out, either at your local auto parts store or a mechanic's shop. The error codes will give some idea of what the issue is by indicating which sensors are out of parameter.
The "wrench" is equivalent to a CHECK ENGINE light.

it is your service interval indicator - basically meaning oil change coming up. Check owners manual to see how to display days and miles until it is required (cant remember that exactly, think you just hold the odo button while turning on ignition). To reset, hold the odometer button and turn on the ignition, then push the clock minute button and this should reset the indicator.

It needs to be reset, here is how to do it:
turn the key on
set the odo/trip meter to read odopush and holsd the RESET switch
turn the key off while holding the switchturn the key back on
some lines will flash on the display
when the odometer reading comes back release the switch

if this doesn't work use the "trip A" setting instead of ODO
either one should work

Power on the car to IG-ON or READY. IG-ON will do for this purpose.

Using the Trip/ODO button, set the Trip/ODO display to ODO - not Trip A or Trip B

Power off the car.

Now power the car to READY (brake on). This is required so that step 6 works correctly.

Immediately, within 6 seconds of powering on, press and hold the Trip/ODO button for 20 seconds or more. Do not release, just hold it for 20 seconds.

Then WHILE STILL HOLDING ODO button, shift the "gear" selector from Park to R, then press the Park button. Now release the Trip/ODO button.

If the last step was successful, b on or b off should be displayed in the location where the Trip Odometer or Odometer is normally displayed. b on is beep on, and b off is beep off.

Press the Trip/ODO button to toggle the mode to the one you want.

Now power the car off to exit the toggle mode.

Power the car on to READY and confirm the reverse beep status by shifting to R. The beep should not be audible if b off was selected, and should be audible if b on was selected.

First check and make sure your gas cap is tight, if this does not resolve the problem read below.A vacuum hose has become disconnected, more than likely due to having your air filter replaced. The VSC and Check engine light typically don't come on until after 150-200 miles after the vacuum hose was pulled out The fix: on the right-hand-side of the engine compartment behind the big plastic housing that holds the air filter you will find a black rubber hose that is not connected to anything. Squeeze the finger clamp on the hose and slide the hose back onto the half inch nipple on the back of the air filter's plastic housing In order for the VSC and Check engine light to be turned off, you will need to open the fuse box, right-side of the engine compartment, and pull the 20 amp EFI fuse for 10 seconds. This will reset the system. The fuse location is marked on the lid of the fuse box, also I believe the EFI fuse is the only 20 amp fuse.(and after you're sure nothing is really wrong with your car), try resetting the "maintenance required" display by setting first your ODO display to the ODO setting. Turn off your engine. While pressing and holding down the ODO button, turn your key to the ON position. The display will do this weird blinking action then it'll go back the ODO reading. No more "maintenance required" display.

if it has a digital odo/ press trip knob until odo is displayed/ press and hold , turn ignition , hold for 4 secounds , release and press again, number 10 will be displayed, keep pressing until 20 comes up, press until odo reading is displayed again, turn ignition off , turn on again , notice the t belt lamp turn off in appros 5 secounds / if not able to reset try this again

you need and OBD2 diagnostic tool to reset

Turn the key off, hold down the odo button on the dash, turn the key on and keep holding the odo button for about 7 seconds. The display screen on the dash will start to flash, release the button and press it down again and keep holding it until the display stops blinking. All done.

Here's how you reset your maintenance light.

To reset the light,
Turn the ignition on
Make sure the odometer displays "ODO"
1.Turn the key off
2.Press and hold down the same button you use to get to "ODO"
3.Turn the key back to ON ( while still holding down the button)
4.Hold the button in until all the flashing lines on the odometer go away and the bunch of "000000" shows up and the maint reset light will turn off.
Your'e done.

If this doesn't work, you would have to try it on "trip A" instead of "ODO".

That center module can be replaced without replacing the entire cluster. Called the Autocheck Module, it unscrews from the cluster.
