My 2007 Suzuki Forenza engin light came on while driving. We check all oil levels and water and was fine. I disconnected the positive treminal on the battery and the light stayed out, just to light up again after 10 miles. I have nit checked the engin codes yet but will do so shortly. Any prelim advice will be appreciated. By the way i do not have a local Suzuki dealer to goto. Help please.

Look back first on any unusual things that went on with the car. If the car is running differently it may just be loose sensors, inspect the cables and the vacuum hoses. Check for leaks or parts that may have come off.

In most cases it could be several issues and you need the codes to accurately identify the problem. Some shops would let you borrow their scanner to get the error codes if there are no Suzuki dealers in your area.

Got a 2007 Suzuki forenza and it was driving fine. I parked it and now it only has one gear and no reverse. Any ideas what it could be?

Start by ensuring the tranny fluid level is correct. Is the check engine light on? If so have any codes scanned that may be related to the transmission to point you in the right direction. You can also try disconnecting/reconnecting the battery to see if it will reset the transmission control module and correct your issue.

My car is a 2006 Suzuki forenza manual with 67k miles on it. It just had an oil change a few months ago with a new filter as well. I didn't drive the car for a few days while the temperature was...

Suzuki should have stayed with just motorcycles. Anyway, You just had the oil changed. Check and see if they changed the filter also. They may have forgot or were just to lazy. Just a chance the oil filter is bad, I would replace it again(is the oil clean on the dipstick?). Add a higher viscosity oil. At 67,000 miles, you would have to drive dirt roads all the time, with no air filter to get sludge to clog the head ports. Which is slow drain of oil to the pan. The oil pump? well it could be, most likely not. I would say the oil sending unit is bad, but the knocking noise kind of throws that off. Knocking is bad, if it happens again, pull off and shut the engine down. One other thing to watch is the temperature gauge. getting really hot will cause knocking. Check coolant level and the thermostat.

Why does my oil light come on?

It's possible that when the engine is at idle RPM it may not produce enough pressure causing the oil pressure sender to activate the light. Does it do this when you just sit and idle the motor? You may also have a oil sender that may need to be replaced.

Trying to find the exact location on my car to add my transmission fluid i have automatic 2007 suzuki frenza my chek engine light is on

Open up your bonnet and look at the very back of the engine and you should see a long tube with a colored handle sticking out, also the check engine light can also be the engine oil so on either side of the engine you should see the same thing as the transmission handle. Its best to check both the transmission & engine oil/fluid by pull out each one by one when the engine is off and cold then get a rag and wipe off the oil/fluid on the longs metal sticks and putting them back in & out to see how much oil/fluid they have.
On both sticks they have a add more & max level lines so if the oil/fluid is on the add more line, add more oil/fluid to them to get it on the max line.
Remeber that the transmission oil/fluid goes to the back stick behind the motor and the motor oil/fluid goes to the side one. Good luck.
