My honda ridgeline tail light does not work but the brake lights do. I just replaced the bulb. What could be the problem?

Bad ground. On the drivers side at the rear. Doesn't matter if it is the tail lights, brake lights, or reverse lights. If the front lights work, Bad ground.

look for a fuse labeled park or tail lamps in your owners manual fuse box diagram. You may have to chase a wiring issue as well.

check the brake light switch, it is located at the brake pedal... or check/replace bulbs.... check connector, sockets in the tail light assy...

hi if it is only the one bulb not working/tail light and the front light on same side is working along with number plate and other tail lights may i suggest you replace/check the bulb on defective light as if fuse had blown ? the front light on same side would not be working if you put ignition on and press brake your brake light shoul work ? if so change the bulb as the bulb has two elements inside tail light and a higher wattage element for brake light

It could be the wrong bulb in the brake lights/ TS

Open tail gate, remove the 2 screws on side of light assembly, and pull out. The rest will be easy to figure out.

Take it back and have them check the wiring. It sounds like the converter is wired wrong or faulty.

Did you install the converter, which allows you to use the separate turn signal bulbs? If not, then you did pop the fuse.

Open the tail gate, and remove the 2 screws on the side.
