Electric or manual?
Electric
I have done a lot of troubleshooting and ill tell you that there is power to the switch when I put the test light to it
This is what I've done so far...
I purchase a seat with the tracks and the motor from a junk yard because I figured my drivers seat motor was gone but that's when I discovered it has three different motors. so I installed the motors and they were working before I left the salvage yard but they do the same exact thing only 6 since out of the 8 functions are working. So I figured the switch was bad so I installed that as well and nothing changed so I took the switch apart and grabbed my test light and I began to press the switches for the various functions and I discovered that all of the switches are getting power but only the recline switch is not putting out so now I think its maybe the module under my seat
have you taken the switch off and checked the copper contact
Yes they are all intact and have no debris restricting them whatsoever
I found out the problem the reclined switch is putting out power I didn't realize that there is a motor for the recliner in the back part of the seat. I unplugged the wire going to the seat motor and the harness is getting power so it is a fact that the recliner motor in the seat is bad. How can I remove the seat motor without destroying the leather seat
