Check compression on cylinders, if it is low you may have the timing belt off by a tooth or more

SOURCE: A loud sound shortly after starting my car

I'm guessing that you Expedition has been making this noise probably since you've had it? Even if it hasn't, I think I can bring you some comfort. If you could pinpoint where the noise was coming from under the hood, would you say that it's somewhere over on the passenger side? My dad owns a 1998 Ford Eddie Bauer Expedition, and we noticed a loud noise with the same habits as what you're describing. Come to find out, there is an air compressor under the hood, I can't remember exactly what it's for, but the sound that I believe you're hearing is the compressor filling up with air and then shutting off once the proper amount of pressure is reached. You might try popping the hood to try to locate the exact place that it's coming from, but I can tell you that it's probably a 99% chance that when you find your noise, you'll find the compressor I'm referring to. Hope this proves to solve your issue and helps to ease your worries. Have a wonderful evening!

SOURCE: my suzuki carry f6a wont idel

Before doing anything else . Check the idle air control valve. It is located at the hole in the fuel system side. It can be removed and cleaned. Or spray cleaned using carb cleaner. After removing the air duct work. With the engine on and running at 1200 rpms or so, spray cleaner directly at some holes in the sides of the hole going to the fuel system. turn off engine and let the cleaner soak into the valve.Repeat process. If that is not the problem. it may be the Idle position sensor, (IPS) it is located near the fuel systen with a plug of a few wires. remove the plug and replace the sensor.

SOURCE: 1996 astro van stopped running

Sounds like dirty gas and the fuel filter is clogged...try changing the fuel filter...some are under the car, but most are mounted against the firewall in the engine compartment.

Do they use the same carb in the Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve and 12 valve engines

The Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve, and 12 valve engines do not necessarily use the same carburetor. The carburetor used on a particular engine depends on factors such as the engine's displacement, number of cylinders, and year of manufacture.
For example, the Suzuki F6A engine, which was used in various Suzuki vehicles such as the Suzuki Carry and Suzuki Jimny, has several different carburetor options depending on the model year and vehicle application. Some of the carburetors used on the F6A engine include the Hitachi DM14, DM20, and DM24 carburetors, as well as the Suzuki F5A and F8B carburetors.
Similarly, the Suzuki F6 engine, which was used in the Suzuki Cappuccino sports car, also has a specific carburetor designed for its engine configuration.
Therefore, it's important to confirm the exact engine model and year of manufacture, as well as the vehicle application, to determine the correct carburetor for a particular engine.

Suzuki F6a engine backfiring and wont start

Most of the time an engine that backfires is out of time. I would
check this first, as this is the problem 95% of the time. It could
also be bad fuel, a bad catalytic converter (rare) A bad coil or igniton module will definatly cause it. A fuel injector that is spraying excessive
fuel out will cause an engine to backfire. Burned or leaking
valves will cause it (rare).
