He may not have checked the evaporator core which is under the dash. you can take off the black cover in the passengers floorboard. should be two 7mm screws then there is a long thin black piece that unlatches revealing the cabin filter. remove the cabin filter and look for signs of a leak if he put leak dye in it. or look for oily residue.

2015 Chevy camero ac quit working, its not blowing cold air

Probably lost freon and now it won't cool. The system needs to be vacuum and pressure tested to find the leak and fix. It could be a seal on the compressor or a leak in a hose or condenser. You should see some oil leaking from the system where the leak is.

97 Plymouth Breeze won't blow cold air due to freon leak.

Your AC system is a closed system, so the fact you have to put more Freon in, means there is definitely a leak. I would check it out with a mechanic.

Just had 3 lbs of Freon put into my van. The AC worked for one day and now only blows hot air. Any ideas of how to fix this problem?

sounds like you have a leak in one of the line set connections. check for oil and accumulated dirt around these connections. you may need to have a mechanic look at this to see if it is a simple o ring gone bad or your compressor is bad.

To clarify - - if the truck has rear and heat, you have two heater cores and two evaporator cores. The evap cores carry the freon.
If the leak is in the evap core in the front, the price is probably right.

When I put freeone in my 2002 chevy monte carlo it last for about two weeks, what could the problem be?

You more than likely have a small leak in your in the hose coming from your ac compressor. take it to a certified mechanic to get it checked. Hope this helps.

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon with auto climate control. The front a/c is working but the fan will not come on. The rear a/s works fine. Checked fuses, they are all good. Any suggestions?

It's most likely your blower motor control module. Easy fix! Remove the kick plate under the glove compartment and the module is right next to your blower motor - remove the two screws and it will drop right out. Disconnect the wire harness (2 wires) and replace. Good luck!
