Between 50 and 60 mph there is a loud shudder type of noise and vibration from below my gas pedal..not sure what is cousing this at this speed..my truck is a 2005 Chevy silverado 4x4 2500 i put it in drive held the brake and ran up the rmps to see if it made the noise and there wasn't one..so thinking it might be the drivetrain somewhere.

This sounds like the front drive shaft that may have worn u joints. Put the vehicle in park, set the brake and proceed to shake the front drive shaft up and down to inspect for wear. Let me know what you find.

it could be center bearing, if its going bad it can also cause a vibration, make sure you have sufficient fluid in the diff as well, you can also get a noise and vibration from collapsed motor or trans mounts
Do a test with tranny in drive instead of OD/over-drive, does the problem go away? If so I think it is an OD issue.
Check motor mounts and suspension. In the past, I've seen bad shocks cause a noticeable vibration at a certain speed. Below or above that certain speed, no vibration.
Usually a vibration is due to one or more parts that have become worn or damaged. I'm not sure why you mentioned the tires but don't disregard them unless you know that they are fine. Check for correct inflation (on the door jam), for uneven tread wear, or bubbles and damage. Other things that can cause a vibration is the front-end needing an alignment, a tire that is unbalanced, worn out steering components (like a wheel-bearing), defective u-joints and/or an unbalanced drive-shaft, or low gear-oil level in the drive-axle can cause damage to the ring & pinion gear. The damage would primarily be on one side. So when you let off the gas pedal the sound goes away. Check as much as you can and let me know how it is going.
A good thing to check is the universal joints on your rear drive shaft. When they get worn, one of the first symptoms is a noise/ vibration that only occurs at certain speeds. Sometimes you can visually inspect them, and see signs of rusty powder coming out of the bearing caps.
Your noise sounds like it is power train related,If you have eliminated the engine,Since it doesn't make the noise while moving and in neutral. It sounds like a universal joint in the drive shaft.Do you notice a vibration along with the noise?
I had a similar problem. The dealer change automatic transmission and differential, but the noise continu.
After research on internet i think the problem is the front galiper who create a vibration on the disc wheel and the vibration frequence follow
the front axle until interior car.
Just press slowly the brake pedal and if the noise stop , that's it the cause i think.
I dont change my galiper, but i have a new transmission . :)))
