Vibration I have a 99 town and country, my power steering pump went out & had to be fixed. I had a chrysler dealership put it in. Since I did that I now have a bad vibration, especially when I put it in drive and hold the brake. I did not have this problem before the power steering pump was put in. Could you please tell me what could be causing this? Cindy Seneca Rocks, WV

ReplaceTentor pully on 1998 Town and Country

It very well could be the tensioner if it does not sit straight, or the idler pulley if the bearings have gone out, but usually 99% of the time it is the power steering pulley that is pulling out from the power steering pump, and that is usually what is causing the belt to mis-align especially at the waterpump pulley, check the alignment of that pulley very well.

Power steering went out has fluid cant turn steering wheel

Hi, it sounds like your power steering pump or rack has died. Is the belt ok & tight on the pump? If no fluid lost, no loose belt etc, will most likely be pump, hope this helps :)
