Need to know where i can get a routing digram for my lincoln towncar 1996 4.8L on the serpentine belt dont have one and not sure how it goes on.

The picture is for a zetec. Let me know if wrong diagram?

It's old question, you might find it out already.
If not, here is pictures and diagrams.
It might be two different routing.
Mine is limo which has two alternators.
try to see which is yours.
(red was mine with two alternators. original is black in diagram)

also you may know how to loosen serpentine by insert and turn 3/8 drive ratchet (just ratchet without any socket) to tensioner pulley if not, here is picture (I use 3/8 ratchet + pipe).
Picture was taken after 2nd alternator removed (around upper hose)

Should be under hood where you would put your hands while looking at engine.

It would be very unusual for the underhood diagram to not match your engine, unless the engine was changed.

There are seven engines listed. Here is routing for 4.6L w/ a/c:

need to know the engine size and you should have a diagram for the belt routing under the hood. if the belt tensioner is faulty or one of the pulleys have seized .have those repaired first instead of putting on the belt again.9 out 10 it is a faulty part that is why you may have lost the belt.

If you look in front of your fan shroud on the flat ptate there shoud be a digram of the routing there. Sometimes they place the digram on the inside hood. Good Luck

There should be a decal under hood showing the belt routing. If the belt is still installed and there is no decal, simply study the outline of belt.
