You may have a faulty brake lamp switch at the brake pedal. If the brake lights come on (via a bad switch), the cruise will cut off.
SOURCE: Air Bag Sensor light on & horn not working
Without knowing exactly what the air bag code is, coupled with the known fact that the horn is inoperative, my opinion for a viable solution is to replace the spiral cable or, as commonly called, the "clockspring". This device is the main wiring connection between the steering wheel and the wiring harness. If the circuit(s) open, due to a failure of the spiral cable, the air bag light will be on, the horn will not work, and , if you have a steering wheel Cruise control, it too may be inoperative. Best solution: replace the clockspring. Best advice: Get the airbag DTC's checked, and if you have an open in the driver side air bag circuit, the clockspring is def the culprit. Given that you had chassis work, your DTC just may be the front crash sensor, and the horn may just be unplugged, or bad, This is the best I can do for you, given the info that you have provided,
Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Rewire your horn from the steering wheel to the horn. Its not difficult, I can't tell you how to take the steering wheel apart but you can get a Haynes Repair Manual. It'll have all you need and more. You can use speaker wire, split it in two. Run one cable from the positive in the battery to the horn switch in the steering wheel. Another from the switch to the horn. You have a short somewhere, to me is easier just to run new wires than to find the short-circuit. Make sure when you run the cables through the firewall you run through a grommet so it does not get damaged by metal. Before anything check your headlight wires that they are not touching the horn.

I would suggest to you to have the spiral cable (or 'clockspring') replaced. This is the electrical unit that transfers power to the air bag, the horn and the cruise control.
It is located right under the seering wheel.
Your description of the issue indicates to me that your spiral cable is loose, and making intermittant contact. If the vehicle had an air-bag deployment, this cable-device should have been changed.
