Okay, open the hood, and look behind the head light assembly, look for the low-beam bulb, these bulbs are which operate when you turn on your headlights. check modifiedlife.com for the correct size of the bulb. then simply put your hand in and turn the outer-fitting 1/4 and it should come off, simply swap the bulbs and it should be a piece of cake. put it in reverse order.

Does the bumper have to be removed on 2003 Mitsubishi outlander to replace headlamps

No. Remove the socket cover. Then remove the bulb. You have to remove the bumper to replace the entire headlight assembly, but not for just the bulb

Remove headlight cover

I would say it is part of the whole headlamp assembly and cannot be removed separately.

How do I replace the headlight assembly MN133516

The 2003 Outlander utilizes replaceable (9007) headlight bulbs. If you're looking to replace the bulb(s);
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the plastic cover at the rear of the headlamp assembly by rotating it counterclockwise, and pulling it off. This will allow access to the headlight bulb.
3. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise in order to remove it from the headlamp assembly. Pull the old bulb out of the socket, and use a clean cloth to install the replacement bulb. Do not touch the glass of the new bulb.
4. Place the socket back into the assembly, and twist it clockwise. Reattach the plastic cover, and close the hood.
Are you needing DIY instructions for replacing the entire headlamp assembly? Left (driver) or Right (passenger)?

How do you replace the parklights on a 2005 mitsubishi outlander

You have to remove the head light assy from the body,
on almost all vehicles today

Then you can somewhat easily remove the lamp
socket from it & then the lamp/bulb it'self

Have to look for screws or bolts holding it on

May have to remove a few things to get to the
bolts.

You could look on You Tube--- for Video of it
being done

The headlights on my 205 Outlander went out at the same time a month ago. Now one of them just went out again. I also have replaced these bulbs in the past. My mechanic checked for moisture and if it was...

Sometimes bulbs will just go out like this, or it may have been a bad one to start off with. Try replacing the bulb again, and if the problem persists, contact the Dealership.

Cargo light 2005 mitsubishi outlander

you might want to check the fuses first, if they are all good then
check the switch which is located in the back door jam area. You should be able to unscrew or get to the switch back easily once there connect the two wires together and see if it lights.
