2005 gmc denali cannot open rear passenger door from outside

the switch is part of the latch assembly

This may have to be done from the inside?

you can check for passenger climate control
this is in the right side, just make sure the a/c is on and temp is to the coolest...

remove the door panel and look inside and make sure the lever rod is connected on both ends
the door handles are spring loaded so that will throw you off

pass side blend door motor is either bad or frozen.

Harris, did you find a solution to your problem? I am having the same issue on my 04 denali. Rear doors and tailgate wont lock but the unlock fine. Front door function normally? let me know.

Either the relay for the locks is bad or the fuse. When you push the power lock on the inside if the doors do not unlock then I would check the fuses, both inside and under the hood. If they do work then the relay/s may be bad. You are pushing your key button twice correct?

well look for little pop outs first then then look for screws in those little openings then look on the outside edge of the trim panel for retainers to remove then pull the mirror cover off just pops of then pop out bottom of the door and then pop out the sides of the trim then pull up and out should come right off after that take vapor barrier off and then you will see the interior parts of the door and mechanics of the door/ Please rate my response thank you very much

If the handle moves on the outside. It's probaly the plastic that conects the rod to the handle. pull the inside panel and look.

Replace the door lock / unlock relay in the fuse box next to the driver side door. no problem since than.
