2007 dodge ram 2500 4wd 5.7 hemi. Changed the break pads today and after pumping the breaks firm with engine off, I turned it on to try driving around and the breaks wont hold pressure. I checked to see if my break fluid and it's full. Not sure what's going on need help.

What is the condition of the yoke part. Is it still functional? Try getting one on eBay, like this part:

When were your pads replaced last? Aftermarket semi-metallic pads are all different. You could four sets of pads by the same manufacturer and three sets are fine and the forth set will squeal all of the time. If the brakes only make noise when you are applying pressure that is about all it could be. Your pads probably look new and still squeal. Try having your rotors resurfaced or scuffed up and see if that helps!

there are indeed 16 plugs in the hemi engine. 8 of which are under the 8 ignition coils the other 8 are under the wires coming from the coils. You may have to remove some air filter tubing or engine covers to remove the coils, wires and plugs. good luck
