Since the auto parts stores sells freon cans in 12 ounce cans and a pound is 16 ounces you will need two cans you will use one whole can and about 5 ounces out of the second can dont try to force all of the second can into it you will over charge it you could take it to a shop and let them charge it precisely out of a 30 pound can with a scale they will put exactally what is needed.no more no less and you wont have to guess how much is 5 ounces out of the second can. good luck hope this helped you.

The low side reading will usually correspond with the dash temp,45 lbs at low side should equal 45 degrees f at the dash with a medium fan speed and 70 to 80 degrees f outside temp with a good air flow through the condenser.(fan placed in front of vehicle).

I have kaoplecin for horses. Dosage for foals is 15 mL for every 10 kg and for the mare is 30 mL for every 45 kg. The foal weighs 300 lbs and the mare weighs 1200 lbs. what are the dosages to give

1 kg is 2.2 lbs 300 / 2.2 is 136.07
136 /10 is 13.6 times 15ml = 204 ml

1200 / 2.2 is 544 544 / 45 is 12.08
12.08 times 30 equals 362 mls

I have ingaged my ac clutch i cant get the air cold i have put freon in it but it wont take more that 35 lbs any ideas

I sure hope you don't mean 35 lbs of freon !
When the ac compressor is running, the low side will read 30-45 psi under normal conditions. The high side should be around 250psi.
You need to be able to check both low and high to see if the system is full of freon. It holds around 4 or 5 cans total depending on make and model. Thats about 3 lbs.

I AHVE A 199 HONDA ODESSY AND HAVE RECHARDED A/C AND CAN HERE COMPRESSOR KICK IN BUT STILL BLOWS HOT IS CAB

well first did you put enough freon? usually takes about 1 1/2 lbs to 2 of freon. now was it completly low. if it was you have to jump compresor the plug is on freon canister its that bottle looking thing with 2 lines coming out of it. disconect plug and jump with paper clip with car running put freon while holding paper clip in the jumper. and you should be alright.

I am needing to know how many cans of freon are required after replacing all ac parts to recharge ac?

Hello robinjones_m: My name is Roger and I will answer your question. Your truck should hold 2 lbs. of R134A freon. That equals to 32 oz. of charge. If all components were changed be sure to add 8 oz. of A/C oil. Should you need any further help please just ask. Please rate the quality of your answer as this is how we know you received the correct answer to your question. THank You for using Fix Ya.Roger
