Whoa whoa whoa, all Honda vehicles before 2007 have a lifetime warranty on seatbelts and seat belt buckles. If you really want to save money go to the dealership.

I don't know if this is something you want to get into? You decide. Front Seat Belt Replacement SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.
NOTE: Check the front seat belts for damage, and replace them if necessary.

Front Seat Belt

  1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, and then write down the frequencies for the preset buttons.
  2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
  3. Slide the front seat forward fully.
  1. Pull the lower anchor cover (A) back, and remove the lower anchor bolt (B).
  2. Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel.

  1. Remove the upper anchor cover (A), and remove the upper anchor bolt (B).

  1. Disconnect the seat belt tensioner connector (A), and detach the harness clip (B) from the retractor (C). Remove the upper retractor mounting bolt (D), and the lower retractor bolt (E), then remove the front seat belt (F) and retractor.
  2. If necessary, remove the front seat belt protector (G).
  3. Remove the B-pillar upper trim.

  1. Remove the shoulder anchor adjuster (A).

  1. Install the seat belt in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Assemble the washers, collar, and bushing on the upper and lower anchor bolts as shown.
    • Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions.
    • Apply liquid thread lock to the anchor bolts before reinstallation.
    • If the seat belt tensioner has been activated, replace the front seat belt protector with a new one.
    • Before installing the anchor bolts, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belt.
    • Make sure the seat belt tensioner connector is plugged in properly.
    • Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
    • Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, and then enter the customer's radio station presets.
    • Reset the clock.
    • Do the PCM idle learn procedure and the power window control unit reset procedure.

SOURCE: How to change the whole headlight assembly on a 05 Honda CRV

When you raise the hood, look for a Phillips screw that holds the parking lamp in. if it is there remove screw and pull parking lamp toward front of vehicle. If headlamp and side lamp are 1 piece, there should be 2 number 10 mm headed bolts that are vertical, that hold the assembly in. The side lamp will have a stud that holds the light to the fender. You may have to pry it loose. Reverse procedure to install.

SOURCE: 1999 Honda crv timing belt replacement

1. Remove the 14mm bolt.
2. Remove the spring holding onto the tensioner
3. Remove the tensioner
4. Installation is the reverse.

I install a new tensioner with every timing belt job.

If you have more than 130K miles, I would replace the cam seals. Its extra insurance against future leaks.

I can't find a 94 corolla rh front seat belt retractor, is there a different year or model of toyota seat belt retractors I can use?

seat belts are not genuine but are made to toyota specs
unless there is a problem in the mounting point , most are a bolt on part to a bracket in the car
go to a wreckers that has toyota wrecks and get good belts from cars that have not been involved in front end collisions
most belts fit a range of years and models across toyota and similar shaped cabins

Seal belts on both front seats (driver side and passenger side) will not pull out of the retractor. Don't want a fine for not wearing belt but it won't work. No one seems to know how to fix it. ...

No one can fix it!

Don't you find that odd?

You remove the plastic seat belt retractor covers,
on the floor by the "B" Piller

If you need to replace them, the retractors I mean, there
is a special GM Torx Driver Bit for seat belts

I would play around with them to see what the issues are

IF THEY HAVE AN AIR BAG INVOLVED e.g. SRS
System integrated into the seat belts, disconnect the battery
(before) you even think of going near the covers

91 honda ex, passenger front seat belt is not working and the light in the dash board keeps lit, I have check the fuses for it, and all the connection to the belt and it seems all intact...any advise?

Your 1991 model Accord has automatic front retracting shoulder belts and, more than likely, the power retractor motor has gone bad on the passenger side front. If the shoulder seat belt is not in the retracted position, up close against the seat, when the car is running, the seat belt light will stay lit on your dash. Have the seat belt motor inspected and replaced if necessary.

How do we fix front passenger side seat belt retractor on 1999 Ford Taurus? It will not pull out....

you may have to remove the bolt that holds the buckle to the floor. Try to push the belt into the retractor and see if it frees up.

I assume you are saying it is in the locked mode. It has an automatic lock mode for holding a child seat. When the belt is pulled all the way out, it goes into locking mode. You will hear it ratchet when the belt starts going back in.

Section 01-20A: Restraints, Active 1999 Taurus, Sable Workshop Manual
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Safety Belt, Lap/Shoulder The dual locking mode retractor on the shoulder belt portion of the combination lap/shoulder safety belt for the front seat passenger and rear seat outboard passengers operates in two ways:
  1. In the vehicle sensitive (emergency locking) mode, the shoulder belt retractor will allow the occupant freedom of movement, locking tight only on hard braking, hard cornering or impacts of approximately 8 km/h (5 mph) or more. The front and rear outboard seat belt retractors can also be made to lock by pulling/jerking on the belt.
  1. In the automatic locking mode, the shoulder belt retractor will be automatically locked and remain locked when the combination lap/shoulder safety belt is buckled and does not allow the occupant freedom of movement. This mode provides tight lap/shoulder belt fit on the occupant and on a child safety seat or infant carrier installation restraint.
  1. When the combination lap/shoulder belt is unbuckled and allowed to retract completely, the retractor will switch to the vehicle sensitive (emergency) locking mode.
sxh~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif WARNING: REAR-FACING INFANT SEATS SHOULD NEVER BE PLACED IN THE FRONT SEATS.
The automatic locking mode must be used when installing a child safety seat on the front passenger seat and rear outboard seats where dual locking retractors are provided
