P0302 is number 2 cylinder misfire. it could be anything from plug, plugwire, or the coil for that cylinder. check plug and or wire first. have a good day ! p0303 is # 3 cylinder etc.

yes they are but you need to check and replace the plug wire itself. that usually causes a misfire code

Looking at the Engine on a ford is different from a gm. The correct cylinder numbers are 1234 from front to back on the passenger side and 5678 front to back on the driver's side

do a compression test on the engine.if that checks out ok then the problem is either an ignition problem or a bad fuel injector

The P0302 could be several things including but not limited to the following. Engine mechanical fault, a wiring problem, Could be an Ignition or fuel system problem, Could be a bad injector or bad ECT (Engine Coolant Sensor) or MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) or a problem with the ECM (Engine Control module)

2003 dodge neon. Did the self diagnostic test that it comes equipped with and came back with these codes P0300, P0302, P0344, P0700. Could it all relate to one thing?

These codes cover 3 different areas. Misfires, cam sensors and transmission issues. I would suggest taking the vehicle to a good mechanic so they can look at it in more detail.
The Codes mean...
P0300 = Random/multiple misfires detected.
P0302 = Cylinder 2 Misfire detected.
P0344 = Camshaft Position sensor Circuit intermittent.
P0700 = Transmission control system malfunction.

Causes of p0300, p0302, p0304, p0306 in 2000 toyota avalon

P0300 = Random/multiple cylinder(s) - misfire detected.
P0302 = Cylinder 2 - misfire detected.
P0304 = Cylinder 4 - misfire detected.
P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected.

A misfire can be caused by a few things. The most common causes are usually spark supply or fuel supply. Get BOTH of these checked.
All the misfires are on the same side of the engine so I would suspect a fuel rail or an injector issue on that side of the engine.
