Hi, will the suspension, brakes, shockers and struts from my 1989 ford EA sedan fit my 1990 XF falcon ute?

as the cars are BA models then anything forward of the door pillar lock will fit as they are both the same body parts

wait a bit ....is it rear disc or rear drums on that ute

will assume its under dash hand brake pull lever tyoe

the disc setup may have single cables for each rear
rear disk brake cable is approx $ 150

if your XH it is close to the XE and XF set up drums
a complete one line loop cable outer and inner
with plastic grommets along the back chassis rail ( they break )
so the one inner cable works both rear handbrake shoes


hand brake cable is a shorty

undo the adjustment thread
just below the hand brake cable point up somewhere above the gearbox
(drums )
after new cable fitted
drums are adjusted with the old school way with the handbrake adjuster tool
handbrake cable adjusted

then the handbrake handle when pulled out to hold needs14 plus clicks
comes out a long way for some weird reason
on drums
if cable adjustment is done wrong onrear drums the handbrake cable will come loose in the drum as you drive along

Can you look somewhere when you need help look for some

If you can get it to run a tad more by just spraying starter fluid into carb, then the carb needs to be cleaned, repaired, or replaced. All the spark, compression in the world will get you no where without the gas!!!!!!

It sounds like a idle switch on the carbie easy to replace

hi need colour code diagram for 91 xf ute stereo

have had a few of these in with carb faults but were 2 barrel type.basic checks first,is pcv valve hose under carb not split(runs to valve cover or oil cap on this model?).try driving without airfilter element for test,have had one in that looked clean but had a fine mist of oil on it that blocked and caused air starve and stall on power.Did both problems start at same time? or maybe you are chasing 2 probs.being a ute.I have had probs with rusting petrol tanks and blocked fuel filters
