How do you reset the factory anti theft system? I purchased a used isuzu rodeo that has the anti theft sticker on the window and the blinking light. The person that i bought it from didn't have a remote as it was a repo. How do I know if it came with one?

Most cars that are mid 90s and newer had a remote feature. If you take it by the parts department of and Isuzu dealer they should be able to order you one or two.

How do you make the a/t oil temp light go off on a 2004 Isuzu rodeo after fixing the problem

You can try disconnecting the battery and see if that resets it. You will need to reprogram your radio possibly so have your anti theft radio code handy if your car is so equipped

Could having a factory anti theft system and a alarm system in a 2000 isuzu rodeo cause problem because mine will go off randomly and nobody is around

Your alarm system should have a sensitivity setting screw, if you can locate it, it's probably buried behind your dash. If you adjust the sensitivity it might help with the problem.

Anti theft wont let me start car

The problem may not be with anti-theft but with a bad fuel pump,cam/crank sensor etc. Also, you may try unlocking the drivers door with the key. On most cars that is the standard method for disabling the security system.

One way is to row your window down, step out of the vehicle, press lock on your key fob, reach inside the window, unlock door and open door. The alarm should go off.

I recently purchased a used 98 isuzu rodeo. It didn't come with the remote. I purchased a used remote and tried everything to get them to work. I also have followed all the steps to get the truck to...

It might not be a factory installed system. Your best bet is to look around under the dash near the steering wheel and to the left for a black box with a bunch of "obviously not factory installed" colorful wires leading to it. It should have a brand and model number, with which you should be able to find the appropriate remote. Common brands are Clifford, UltraStart, Viper, Directed, Bulldog and others.

07 ford focus anti theft light flashes all the time

If the security or anti-theft light is flashing when you attempt to start your car, and the engine does not crank or does not start, you have an anti-theft problem. The system may not be recognizing your key's key-less entry signal, or there may be a fault in the anti-theft module or wiring.
There is a reset procedure to stop this anti-theft light flashing.many a times this helps The reset procedure is as follows:-- Reset the alarm by locking and unlocking the drivers side door.Do this a couple of times and then check it will reset the factory security system . If the reset procedure does not helps then its time to get the anti-theft system checked. There is a short circuit in the anti-theft system wiring. Anti theft dash light is blinking on my 1998 rodeo and will not start now. Tried unhooking battery to reset, but no luck. Will not crank from jumping off either. Battery is good, all lights and the radio...

I'm assuming its an original alarm or system that came from factory or dealer. When the light blinks is because the alarm is activated. Look underneath the radio the alarm brain might be there. There will be a label on it saying alarm or security system etc. Disconnect the harness to it and try operating your vehicle.
