I just recently bought a 2005 yukon xl...the air conditioning blows out fine on the drivers side and rear vents but the passenger side is warm air...like its a fan blowing air from outside. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

diverter is out of position for that specif duct. It may just be stuck. If vacuum controlled, make sure hose is in place and there is vacuum present Good luck _Ned_
You will need to recharge your system , go to the nearest parts store and buy what ever brand that is recomended, and attach it to the lower air conditioning recharge valve.
No ductwork [to the lower vents] under the dash. They are part of the heater core / blower housing is integrated (all one piece).
After reviewing shop manual, we suspect that one of the three damper flaps is not positioning correctly; or debris has blocked one side (which makes more sense given the symptoms).
We're waiting for the temperatures to get back in the plus numbers to check out the physical arrangement.
Its just a vent damper plate not operating, it's like a gate which controls the flow of air,,usually they are operated by vacuum, or cables. Service center time, unless you are handy with your own repairs.
