The car hesitates when taking off from a stop,why?

You should add some fuel injector cleaner into your gas tank to clean the injectors as you drive.

Have you changed fuel filter and your TPS Throttle Position Sencor is probly getting ready to stop working usually when you get a hesitation in newer cars with fuel injection its the TPS sencor or filter clogged

I would rebuild the carburetor or check the intake for vacuum leaks or leaking vacuum hoses, all these cause a lean mixture of fuel and that causes hesitation. The EGR valve opening to early due to a defective delay or other control device can also cause hesitation, disconnect the EGR to confirm the problem lies there and repair if needed

May be timing, plugs, dirty distributor, blocked jets in carbs, water in fuel

check all of the electrical connections on the engine, and the vacuum hoses.

I would start by checking MAP sensor.Also check to make sure your spark plug wires are not DRY ROTTED and leaking SPARK.

fuel filter and tune-up

check the fuel filter ,but i would check the fuel pressure at the injection rail first

if its just hesitating in that gear try adding some "Lucas brand transmission additive" to it. I've seen that stuff perform miracles

vacuum very important on this car number hoses & replace one by one. see how it runs. if problem continues check emission sticker & make sure the hoses r conected to the proper tubes.
