I had a friend try to replace my radio and when he plugged it in it must have blown a fuse because now the automatic lock/alarm doesn't work nor does the radio work. I don't have the owners manual so I can't figure out which fuse is blown to replace it.

Tucson 2008 radio doesn't work

Check the fuse , if it is blown, the radio won't work. The fuse box diagram is in your owners manual. It will also tell you what size fuse the radio requires.

Dashboard lights out

Try disconnecting the negative bbattery cable for 5 minutes to reset the system control module, if that doesn't do it you will need the dealer to look at this.

Plugged a phone charger in to the cig lighter and it blew my radio, horn, door locks and dome light. Will replacing the fuses work?

Yup, changing the fuses (or a fuse, for that matter) might work. That sounds like the effect a blown fuse would have. I'd also replace the phone charger, on general principle.

I have 2007 nissan quest. I replaced the battery and now the van only cranks and cranks but won't start. Also the alarm doesn't respond or the automatic doors don't function either. Someone...

If you follow the positive cable (right at the post in most cases) there is a 50 amp fuse. You may have blown that fuse whicgh is common when changing the battery unless you remove it. Connecting the positive cable first when installing the battery helps prevent this. Also there are several other fuses that you may have blown which connect to the theft system going to the body control module which will prevent the vehicle from stating. If the fuse on the posive cable isn't blown (which I bet it is) in the fuse panel in the vehicle check fuse number 3, 4 , & 19 . See layout diagram below. Also in the fuse panel in the engine comapartment you can check fuse number J and 25 . See layout diagram below. I hope this helps and good luck.

02 VW Jetta locks, remote, lights, windows stopped working

Same problem with an '03 Golf--remote entry, power windows, and interior lights stopped working. This was easily fixed by replacing fuse #14, (10 amp), located in the driver's side fuse block.
