Year/make/model??? P0015 is a camshaft position sensor code and P0017 is a crankshaft position sensor code ( generically ). The computer most likely disabled the traction/Vsc as a safety related operation. It is possible the heavy rain may have caused an electrical issue within the wiring/sensors. I would suggest having the codes cleared and continue driving and monitor the engine light to see if these codes return. Ir they do, further diagnostics will be required
Wet weather will sometimes set off the check engine light due to moisture in connectors and the computer thinks its a malfunction . These are the only problems that seem to fix themselves due to moisture evaporating. It should set a code in the memory for the mechanics to read.
When "check engine" litgh tun on, the PCM (computer) is warning that some fault code is stored there. Autozone could scanned your PCM and show exactly what fault codes is there; if your O2 sensors was replaced, I assuming that they can see this codes... so, they reset and delete all codes stored there? Scanned the PCM after this change?
I'd go to an auto parts store that will check for any diagnostic codes free of charge (autozone and advance auto both do) and if you have any codes, list them here and I can tell you their definitions and the most common solutions to fix them in detail if needed
The CEL (Check Engine Light) will not go out until you hook up a OBD II scanner to your vehicle and erase the code. If it comes back again after you erase it than either the original problem still exists or you have a new problem. You can go to your local AutoZone store and they can hook up a scanner and erase your code for free.
It is a Check Engine Light, meaning youe ECM (Computer) in your car has found a fault (Trouble Code) with a component or sensor in your engine. You will need a OBD II Diagnostic Scanner to be hooked up to your Diagnostic Port located inside your vehicle under the driver's side footwell to scan the stored codes so that your mechanic can determine a solution to the car's problem. You can go to your local AutoZone store and they can hook up a scanner and read your trouble code for free so you have an idea what is wrong with your vehicle. Have a code scanner hooked to it, to find out why the light is on.There are some auto part stores that can do that.If you have a autozone near you go there.
