Yea that fan seems like a pain but all you have to do is stabilize it. A strap wrench is ideal but a belt will work too. Use this to stabilize your fan.
Now there is a nut on the back. Trick is this is a left handed thread. Right turns to loosen.

Remove the bolt holding the reservoir to the fender. Lift the reservoir up and disconnect the washer hose and electrical connector. Remove the entire reservoir from the vehicle and drain. Replace pump

If it is stuck you may have to remove the plastic paneling and work the belt loose from the re-tractor spool. Give it a shot of dw40...just don't get it on the belt . It will weaken the fabric
wipe everything clean and drive for a day to verify where the fluid is coming from. if it is coming from the pan then drain and remove the pan and replace the gasket. if not the replace the offending part or gasket.
sounds like the cable clips came off the back side of the heater. Just pop out the climate controls and try to move the knobs, if the black cover on the cable doesnt move their good. Let me know I can help further.
